			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ICANN, the organization responsible for the assignment of domain names has come out with some important news that will aparently change the way website domain extensions are registered.</p>
<p>Looks like in the future we are going to have much more naming options when registering domain names. Right now there are 21 top level domains such as <strong>.com .org .net </strong>to name a few that we are all familiar with. Check out <a title="ICANN News link about new domain plan" href="http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-4-26jun08-en.htm" target="_blank">this news article from ICANN </a>that describes the additional options that will come available such as city extensions <em><strong>.nyc </strong></em>for new york, <em><strong>.yourbrandname</strong></em> or <strong><em>.trademarkname</em></strong> or even <em><strong>.industry</strong></em> such as <strong><em>.restaurant</em></strong> perhaps. Sounds exciting!</p>
<p>The Board approved this new implementation Thursday June 26th, 2008 and hopes to take affect in the second quarter of 2009.</p>

No longer a home based business, I have made this official in a small town called Gilmer, 30 minutes from where I live here in East Texas. The office is on US Highway 271, so there will be much traffic, in turn hopefully making our brand more recognized in our region.
